The Institutional Plan is a 12-month subscription and automatically renews unless canceled.
How Verification Works
- Sign up for a Line Budgeter account using your educational email address.
- Verify your email.
- Choose the Institutional Plan during onboarding.
- Complete your subscription to activate the discounted plan.
- Click the link to upload your proof of enrollment when the Verification screen appears.
- Submit your verification via the support page.
If there are any issues with your documentation, our support team will reach out with next steps.

FAQ
Do I need a .edu or .ac.uk or similar educational email?
Yes — you need an educational email address provided by your university or school.
If you do not have one, please contact support for alternative options.
Do you accept purchase orders (POs)? Not currently. Institutional Plans are processed securely via credit card through Stripe. We do not accept purchase orders at this time.
Can multiple departments be under one plan? Yes — Institutions can manage users, departments, and permissions under one unified subscription.
Is our data private and secure? Absolutely. Line Budgeter does not sell or share your data. All institutional and project data remains private and fully owned by your organization. Refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can we add or remove users during the year? Yes — you can add users at any time. Removing a user will adjust billing at the next renewal, but the license can be reassigned to another user until then.
Do you offer long-term contracts? Multi-year agreements are available upon request.
Can faculty and staff use the same plan? Yes — a single Institutional subscription can cover faculty, staff, and administrative teams. Each user can be assigned permissions for the full workspace or for specific folders and budgets, depending on their role.
Is training available? Yes — optional onboarding or training sessions are available. Contact support for details.
Do students get separate access from educators? Yes — students can have restricted access or read-only permissions depending on your configuration.

Institutional pricing is intended for institutional use only and cannot be applied to individual or company accounts. Misuse of the plan will result in your account being suspended.
