Blank Budget​

The Blank Budget is a fully customizable, build-it-yourself budget intended for users who want complete control over their budget structure.

While this option does not provide built-in time savings, it allows for total customization from the ground up, if you choose to go that route.

The Budget Builder for Blank Budgets begins after selecting Blank Budget from the Budget Setup screen.

Creating a New Blank Budget​

Blank Budgets offer minimal configuration. After selecting the Blank Budget type, you must:

  • Enter a budget name
  • Assign a project type
  • Select a project folder
  • (Optional) Enter a show code

After entering your budget details and selecting a configuration option, press Ok to make your Blank budget. A blank budget will be created with the following configuration options:

  • A default generic Currency
  • A default generic Location
  • System-defined defaults for:
    • Line Types
    • Phases
    • Day Types
    • Company Units
    • Budget Units
    • Episode elements
