Calendar

Bring time and money together. The integrated Calendar keeps your budget aligned with your production schedule, allowing you to make instant, budget-wide adjustments, manage cash flow, and forecast costs as your project evolves.

Calendar data is applied to your budget through Locations, Phases, and Day Types. The Calendar screen allows you to assign specific dates by location or, when dates are not yet known, use a Day Count instead.

Calendar

If you entered scheduling information while creating your budget with the Budget Builder, that data will automatically populate the Calendar once the budget is created.

If you created a blank budget, the Calendar will appear empty and ready for you to enter your project’s schedule.

Date Range

  • Select a Location, then choose a Phase
  • Choose a Start Date and End Date from the calendar panel
  • Use the navigation controls to move between months

Assigning Day Types

Day Types must be assigned individually:

  1. Select the Phase
  2. Select the Day Type
  3. Click the desired dates on the calendar

Note: Day Types do not support date ranges.

Day Count

If specific dates are not yet known, you can enter day counts for each Phase or Day Type instead of assigning calendar dates.

Location Settings

  • Work Days per Week — Number of standard work days (default: 5)
  • Weekend — Recurring non-working days (default: Saturday and Sunday)

When finished, press Save to propagate calendar changes throughout the budget.

Timeline

The Timeline View provides a visual representation of your project’s schedule across all locations and phases. It allows you to quickly understand how production stages overlap, identify gaps, and review the overall flow of the project.

In this view, time runs horizontally while locations and phases are organized vertically.
