Episodic Budget Report

The Episodic Budget Report is the Budget Report for series. It adds a pattern/amort breakdown across every episode and can print a separate topsheet, with its account detail, for each episode you choose. Everything else works the same as the Budget Report.

Options

In step 1, choose Episodic Budget Report. Along with all the Budget Report sections (TopSheet, Accounts, Second Sheet, Account Summary, the summary options and the Budget Element Report), you get two more:

Pattern & Amort Breakdown Summary

This adds a Breakdown Summary table with one row per episode:

Ep #TitleLaborPurchasesRentalsAllowancesT & FIncentivesTotal

It finishes with an Amortization row. This gives you the whole season's pattern and amort spend on a single page.

Episodes

Tick the episodes you want to report on. Each one is listed by number and name. The Amort and Not-Amortized buckets show their notes instead of a name.

For each ticked episode, the report prints that episode's own TopSheet, plus any Accounts, Second Sheet and Budget Element sections you've selected. All of these costs are for that episode only.

Previewing

Building every episode's pages can take time, so the preview only shows the Cover Page and the Breakdown Summary, with the note "Preview disabled for Episodic Reports". The full report is built when you click Create. The button shows a spinner while it works, and larger seasons take longer.

tip

Save the report once your options are set. You can then re-run it on each new draft straight from Saved Reports, without going through the wizard again.
